A big house or a small village? The Arts Center provides the intimacy of a house and the variety of a village. Formally, the design method is surprisingly precise.
In contrast with the program of requirements required, the sensitive movement of the volumes creates in plan development of the random appearance but full of connexions between its uses and its flexibility.
It’s a place defined by its own flexibility, unpredictable. Something unintentional which is the result of the connexions of its owns uses.
