The intervention involves the total replacement of the former tobacco factory’s current roof while scrupulously respecting its geometry, but adding a gable roof appendage which will disintegrate and will break forming a covered volume that directly dies on the ground.

In other words, the former building’s roof will progressively turn into its own extension.
