Torrelavega’s Adult Education Center
Torrelavega.
A river, a parc, a street corner, and a green embankment make up a no place, which has to solve and give meaning to this particular node. This premise, linked to the need to generate a quality public space, gives us enough clues to find a solution able to satisfy all the constraints.
Our educative center is shown as a subject of an agreement between the different characteristics of the place. Un object modeled by the necessities of alignment or removal that the surrounding modifiers need. Two types of public spaces, one green and the other one urban, come into contact under the educative center, configuring a progressive tapestry on which the building configures alignments and visual fields.
